Know what happens at the London Olympic Track on May 10th?

Lee Valley Velopark was used for all track races during the 2012 London Olympics. Meet Team ZWATT there on May 10th, 2018. This unique location was just announced as the venue for a “demo day”. This will feature 12 selected sports tech startups from around Europe. Sensitivus/Team ZWATT and the other companies were selected from a group of more than 100 startups.

On May 10th all 12 companies will be pitching/exhibiting their technology and business ideas. The event is open for registration on Eventbrite. Please see if that is fit for you and make sure you sign up well in advance.

Background

The event is organized by Loughborough University London. Ranked as the best university in the world for Sport by QS Higher Education. The startup companies businesses span lots of areas. This includes Artificial Intelligence (AI), drug monitoring, impact measurement, sports participation, Internet of Things (IoT), elite sports training, multi-media broadcasting and other tech sectors. All applied to sport, one of the biggest commercial markets in the world, estimated to be 8% of global GDP.
